April 7, 2025:
The registration process for JEE Advanced 2025 has officially begun for foreign nationals, including those with OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) and PIO (Person of Indian Origin) status. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official website — jeeadv.ac.in. The registration window for these categories will remain open until May 2, 2025.
Meanwhile, Indian candidates who qualify through JEE Main 2025 can register for JEE Advanced starting April 23, 2025, from 10 AM onwards. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main qualifiers will be eligible to register for the JEE Advanced examination.

- Foreign nationals
- OCI/PIO cardholders whose card was issued after March 4, 2021
- OCI/PIO cardholders whose card was issued before March 4, 2021, and wish to apply under the foreign national category

- Registration Window (Foreign Nationals): April 7 – May 2, 2025
- Registration for Indian Candidates (via JEE Main): Begins April 23, 2025
- Last Date to Pay Application Fee: May 5, 2025, up to 5 PM
- Application Fee: ₹3,200 (General candidates), ₹1,600 (Female/Reserved category)

Admission & Seat Allocation
Candidates who clear JEE Advanced 2025 will be eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Process (JoSAA 2025) for admission into IITs. JoSAA will also manage seat allotment for NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). The detailed schedule for JoSAA 2025 will be announced separately.
Meanwhile, the April session of JEE Main 2025 concludes on April 9, with the answer key expected shortly thereafter. Based on previous trends, JEE Main results are likely to be declared by April 19.
